Battletown Portlandica

Set in a semi-post apocalyptic Portland, Oregon in 2015, 'Battletown Portlandica' is about the arrival of a strange, charismatic, glowing tree-man named Kevin, and the turmoil that follows. Soon after Kevin comes to the mostly barren futuristic Portland, a new drug called Greeno (which also glows) is introduced to the commercial market promising relief from anxiety and pain. Out of desperation, Robert Downey, Jr (played by Bill Brown), a young graphic designer, starts taking the drug, as do many others. Then, his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Palin (played by Christina C.), a chef and artist, gets pregnant. Turns out that consuming the panacea drug leads to devotion in a new fanatic religion which has Kevin, of course, as its figurehead. There is ensuing turmoil that involves the conflict between Robert and Sarah, the outcome of the hybrid pregnancy, and an overall insane battle for power.
